large purple branch wyvern

Ah, once again, a spectacular name!
Yeah.

Someone saw the fell beast I made and wanted somthing similar, only more purple. Fortunately I had an in-progress skeleton of the exact same dimensions. The sculpting wasn't extra ordinary, except for all the spines I gave him (I love them), but the painting was definitely an improvement. This one had a lot more detail than I was used to at the time. More markings, stripes and such.
My dad gave me the idea for the tail. He pointed out that up till now my tails were pretty simplistic. So I sketched out the arrow shape and slapped it on. I think it adds character.

And just like the fell beast, I think the pose is top notch!

The branch is arbutus, supplied by my aunt, the metal thing is an outdoor light fixture I believe, and the hand holding it up is ma' mom

As usual, paper mache and acrylic paint.

Next dragon up is the bigbeak. A cute little sucker, also on a branch.
